With the seasonal rise of Influenza-Like Illnesses (ILI), Pampanga State University, through the memorandum given by the Office of Student Welfare and Formation, as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Office, enforces the mandatory wearing of face masks starting October 16.
ILI, as according to the OSWF memo, commonly presents with fever (≥38°C), cough, and sore throat, and spreads easily in crowded areas.
Students are urged to wear face masks, stay home when sick, and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen.
