In lieu of the recent advisory announced by the Department of Health regarding the seasonal increase of Influenza-Like Illnesses, Pampanga State University is set to conduct a campus-wide disinfection, and fogging operations to prevent possible dengue cases across all campuses, scheduled within October 18 to November 21.

The following are the disinfection schedule for the regular campuses of the university:

  • Bacolor Campus - October 18 (Saturday)

  • San Fernando - October 21 (Tuesday)

  • Mexico - October 22 (Wednesday)

  • Sto Tomas - October 23 (Thursday)

  • Lubao - October 24 (Friday)

  • Apalit - October 25 (Saturday)

  • Porac - November 3 (Monday)

  • Candaba - November 4 (Tuesday)

Meanwhile, fogging operations are set to take place from November 5 to November 17 across all campuses.

The initiative, recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health, aims to serve as a proactive measure to help prevent the spread of respiratory infections and to safeguard the overall health and well-being of the university community.

Notably, a temporary shift to online class modality and work-from-home arrangement will be implemented during the disinfection and fogging of the campuses, as well as for the next 24 hours and 48 hours after these activities, respectively.
